The last couple of months have been great for us at Stitch Ministry, as we have been lucky enough to feature in both the June and July issues of The Australian Women's Weekly.
The June 2017 issue features Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall on the front cover, with the fashion edit focussing on the trends and styles of that month.
Here, our absolutely beautiful Flute Dress is featured on the "Red, white & blue" edit. The Merino Flute Dress is a deep midnight, which fits perfectly on this page. Navy is such a classic and timeless colour and one that everyone should incorporate into their wardrobe.
This Flute Dress is nothing short of elegant. A gentle slit up either side adds a contemporary touch to such a sophisticated piece. With sheer sleeves and a matching self-tie around the waist, the femininity of this dress succeeds. The beauty of the self-tie allows versatility. Leave it tied at the back or for a more tailored look, tie around the waist and rouche the dress up slightly for a flattering and fitted look. This also helps alter with dress length too if you are on the shorter side.
If you are looking for a simple yet extremely classy dress for an event or special occasion, then look no further - the Flute Dress is the perfect piece at this time of year as the soft merino will keep you cosy all day and night long!
On the "Soft Sophistication" page, our Black/Taupe Drape Dress is shown. Despite not having any blush tones on the fabric, being placed with these soft pastels demonstrates how beautifully the dress matches with the pinks that are present within this page.
This Drape Dress of ours is a great winter option, not only because of the style, but because of the gorgeous print. Print is always a fantastic way to liven up your winter wardrobe as it can become very easy to have a palette of dull and dark colour at this time of year. The print of this dress includes natural, orange and even blue tones. They are all warm tones for winter and we recommend accessorising with these colours when wearing the dress. Whether that be an orange lippy, deep blue jewellery or natural/tan shoes, the colours in the dress will definitely stand out and you will be looking a million bucks!
The Australian Women's Weekly July 2017 issue with actress, Rebecca Gibney on the cover page also featured something special from out winter collection... our Oatmeal Snood!
As the country head into its cold snap for the year, nothing seems more fitting than to have our stunning snood featured in this months issue. Accessorising appropriately during the winter months is vital and Stitch Ministry has you covered!
Our Oatmeal Snood is the perfect combination of feminine shading, style and practicality. They have come in handy for us on those chilly mornings as they are extremely easy to throw on to complete your daily look. The Oatmeal Snood is one that is a match made in heaven with any outfit. Not only will it keep you toasty, but you will be looking great while doing so.
This Snood is also available in a rich Copper Marle, which has been a huge trend this season and proven to be incredibly popular among our customers. Both snoods have matching beanies available too, so there is no excuse to not keep warm during winter. Did we mention how soft and luxurious they all feel!?
A huge Thank You to The Australian Women's Weekly Fashion stylist, Lulu Wilcox for hand selecting such beautiful garments of ours to feature. We love seeing Stitch Ministry in AWW, so make sure you get out and grab one for yourself!
